This skein started with Moxie, one of our Merino sheep. Her fleece was raised right here on our farm in Maine before being spun into yarn and hand dyed in small batches.
There’s something special about knowing exactly where your yarn came from. From caring for the sheep to dyeing each skein, every step happens with care, and I’m excited to share a little piece of our farm with you.

This yarn is soft enough for garments, but sturdy enough for everyday favorites. It’s perfect for hats, mittens, cowls, sweaters, baby knits, and just about any project that calls for a cozy worsted-weight wool.
Because every skein is hand dyed, each one will have its own unique character. If you’re using more than one skein in a project, I recommend alternating skeins every few rows for the smoothest color transition.
Hand wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.
Thanks for supporting our small farm and choosing yarn that’s been with us from the very beginning—from Moxie’s fleece to your needles.
