Our focus on self-sufficiency means we strive to meet as many of our needs on-farm as possible, from feed to fertilizer, in harmony with nature.
Our farm exists to connect people to the food they eat and the land it comes from. Through our CSA programs and direct-to-consumer offerings, we share our harvest with neighbors and families who value transparency, quality, and the story behind every bite. Every decision we make is guided by the goal of producing food responsibly while building a stronger local food system.
Wing & Wool began as a pursuit of purpose — a desire to reconnect with the land and the food we eat. In 2023, I started on a small orchard in Layton, Utah, learning firsthand what it takes to raise animals and grow crops responsibly. By 2025, my family and I expanded our vision to many acres of rolling pastures and woods in Dexter, Maine, where we are building a working farm from the ground up.
Every day on the farm is a learning journey — from caring for livestock to planting and harvesting crops, managing pastures, and producing wool and meat — all while cultivating a resilient, diversified farm ecosystem.

Everything we grow and raise at Wing & Wool is produced with intention, patience, and deep respect for the land and animals entrusted to us. From the very beginning, our farm was built on the belief that good food comes from thoughtful stewardship—healthy soil, well-cared-for animals, and practices guided by both tradition and care.
Our pastures are managed to support the natural rhythms of the land, and our animals are raised with attention to their comfort, health, and wellbeing. We believe that when animals are treated humanely and the land is nurtured rather than exhausted, the result is food that is not only better tasting, but better for our community and environment as well.
From our farm to your table, every step is handled with care. We do the daily work by hand and by heart—checking fences, tending pastures, and making decisions that prioritize quality over convenience. It’s slower, more demanding work, but it’s work we believe in deeply.
